Custom Commission Work

At Caramac’s Prop Shop, we don’t just build props, we bring iconic pieces to life.

Alongside our standard builds, we regularly undertake custom commissions for collectors, cosplayers, display pieces, film projects, and private clients. Each commission is built with the same focus on accuracy, durability, and character that defines all of our work.

What We Can Create

Our commission work has included a wide range of bespoke builds, including:

Replica Weapons

Hero display builds

Convention-ready electronics builds

Custom lighting, sound, and counter systems

Weathering tailored to screen-used or client-requested styles

Functional features and upgraded internals

Helmets

Screen-inspired replicas

Custom paint and squad markings

Battle-weathered finishes

Display or wearable configurations

Interior padding, visors, and electronics options

Every project is approached individually, no two commissions are exactly the same.

Built Around Your Vision

Some clients want museum-style accuracy. Others want something unique that feels like it has its own story. We work closely with you to decide:

Level of realism and weathering

Electronics and functionality

Display vs wearable use

Custom markings, units, or more ideas

Budget and build scope

From first concept through to final delivery, communication is a key part of the process.

Pricing & Lead Times

Because every commission is built to order, there isn’t a fixed “off-the-shelf” price list.

We’re often asked “How much is one?”, but the cost of a build depends heavily on the specification. Two Pulse Rifles or helmets may look similar at first glance but can vary greatly depending on electronics, finish level, weathering, functionality, and intended use (display or wearable).

To provide an accurate quote, we usually need a few details such as:

  1. Display or convention-ready build
  2. Electronics and sound requirements
  3. Level of weathering or custom markings
  4. Any specific upgrades or features

All commissions are handmade in our workshop rather than mass-produced items, so lead times reflect the build process and current workload. We don’t operate on Amazon-style delivery times, quality and accuracy take time.

The more information you can provide when contacting us, the faster we can give you a clear estimate and timeline.
